If you are on the phone with someone you don’t know and trust<\/strong><\/span>, and they have asked you to install any kind of remote support tool (such as RustDesk, Teamviewer, VNC, Google Chrome Remote Desktop, UltraViewer, LogMeIn, AnyDesk, etc…) DO NOT<\/strong> install it and hang up immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n

While browsing the web, if you get a popup window on your screen telling you your computer is infected and asking you to call a toll-free number for help or support – even if they claim to be with Microsoft or “Windows Support” – DO NOT call them!<\/span><\/p>\n

They are likely a scammer trying to steal your money or personal information!<\/span><\/p>\n
